Fire

Some dramatic moments at the Practice last week. We had a fire in surgery 2! A casually discarded match in a bin of paper products unfortunately had the effect of starting a fire luckily just after the patient had left the room. Staff reacted rather well I thought and the fire drill went into action as patients trooped into the car park whilst Dominic and CJ tried out the fire extinguishers. Actually I was amazed by the lack of damage – just some scorching to the bin and a smoky smell that lingered throughout the day..
